LIL RHODY LABS SALES CONTRACT
In as much as Stefanie Robert, hereafter called the “Breeder”. Offer for sale a quality Labrador Retriever further described as:

Hereafter called “the puppy”, “the dog”, “the Labrador retriever”.
And in as much as _____________________________________________ “the buyer” (Buyer Printed Name)
This contract is being freely entered into by both parties, without any mental reservations whatsoever. BREEDERS agree that the above described DOG is a purebred Labrador retriever, with AKC/ACA Registered parents. BUYER shall register this dog (if purchased with FULL REGISTRATION) with AKC/ACA using the Lil Rhody Labs prefix in the registered name at the time the puppy is picked up.

BUYER AGREES:
To have the puppy examined within 72 (seventy two) hours of purchase, by a licensed veterinarian to validate the guarantee. If the puppy is returned due to illness, a letter from the veterinarian is required.
The BUYER agrees that he/she will not sell, transfer ownership, or possession of the PUPPY to any person or organization whose intent it is to resell (such as a pet store), trade, or give away the dog, or use it in any experiments, laboratory, or otherwise, or use it as breeding stock for a puppy mill.
BUYER also agrees this DOG will never be surrendered to any humane society, animal rescue group or shelter. Lil Rhody Labs will accept this PUPPY/DOG back that is unable to be cared for, for any reason at any age. Lil Rhody Labs will assume ownership of, possession of, and responsibility for any such DOG previously purchased from Lil Rhody Labs.

To provide annual pet exams , to continue all required vaccines and annual boosters, regular dewormer as recommended by their vet and follow all recommendations of a vet in regards to proper care of your DOG. Failure to do so and comply with the provided documentations of these requirements voids all warranties.
BUYER agrees to feed Life’s Abundance throughout the dog’s life.
We strongly recommend keeping them on Life’s Abundance Large Breed Puppy Food, which is what the PUPPY is currently being fed.
The value of the PUPPY for the purpose of this guarantee is solely the original purchase price of the PUPPY, and does not include any additional prices declared by the BUYER, such as value of show dog or shipping fees.
To keep PUPPY/DOG in good physical condition and proper weight.
If BUYER has purchased LIMITED REGISTRATION, the PUPPY must be spayed/neutered at age recommended by vet but not before 1 (one) year of age. We would prefer 18 (eighteen) months.
At time of pickup, BUYER will have the chance to fill out registration form. If BUYER would like to wait, then BREEDER will hold onto Registration Paperwork until confirmation of spay/neuter has been completed.
The following will void all warranties, in the discretion of the BREEDER
BUYER permitting the DOG to be underfed or overfed at any time.
UNDERFED: Ribs are highly visible
OVERFED: DOG has no waist when viewed from above. Belly is rounded when viewed from the side (please take into consideration how thick of a coat your DOG has when viewing)
{IDEAL BODY CONDITIONS: Can feel outline of ribs. DOG has waist when viewed from above. Belly is tucked when viewed from the side}
Evidence of neglect or abuse.
Previous related trauma (broken bones, related injuries, etc.)
DOG has been bred (Only DOGS purchased with Limited Registration, or guardianship program before 1 whelp/ 2 studs)
Feeding this DOG anything other than Life’s Abundance dog food.
Evidence of strenuous exercise, for example NO treadmills, NO excessive standing on back legs, etc.
BREEDER AGREES
BREEDER agrees that PUPPY has had proper care to date.
PUPPY has received its first round of shots, and has been dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age.
Puppy records will be furnished at time of pick up. If PUPPY is being shipped, such records will be shipped along with PUPPY.
IF within 72 hours of receiving the PUPPY and he/she is examined by a licensed veterinarian and the health of the PUPPY is found to be at risk due to a congenital defect, BUYER shall notify BREEDER, and provide a written statement from a licensed vet describing the DOGS condition. BUYER shall return the PUPPY and papers to the BREEDER within 3 (three) days of examination.
BREEDER will replace PUPPY, provided PUPPY is in the same condition mentally and physically as when originally purchased.
BREEDER is not responsible if the PUPPY contracts a communicable disease after leaving BREEDERS possession.
In the case of sudden dismay of PUPPY, BREEDER must receive written notice of PUPPY’S death from BUYERS vet, along with a necropsy report stating cause of death.
BREEDER does not guarantee color, size, championship, or temperament of any PUPPY.
BREEDER provides a 26 month hip/elbow guarantee on every PUPPY.
(If the PUPPY is diagnosed with hip or elbow dysplasia by 26 months, that is affected by genetics, and not environmental, then BREEDER will offer another PUPPY to BUYER at no cost. OFA certified testing by a licensed vet by the age of 26 months only.
BREEDER agrees to give a lifetime guarantee (10 years) to BUYER.
(If BUYER feeds the DOG Life’s Abundance dog food. BUYER must keep DOG on Life’s Abundance in order to have this guarantee. (I would not give this guarantee if I didn’t think the quality of the food, proven benefits, and no recalls ever, would NOT be beneficial to your DOG)
To be covered by this guarantee, the PUPPY must be owned by the original BUYER named in this agreement.
BREEDER does not guarantee against non-threatening puppy problems, i.e. parasites, hernias, missing or misaligned teeth, infertility, or allergies.
BREEDER does not guarantee against avoidable diseases caused by improper care or neglect by BUYER
The PUPPY is healthy at time of sale.
The PUPPY has had the immunizations provided in the health record.
Vaccinations must be kept current or the guarantee is void regarding said PUPPY.
No other warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made under this contract, except pas stated above.
Buyer acknowledges reading and understanding each of the above listed conditions.

We the undersigned have read this contract and so understand and agree to its terms and conditions. The written terms of this contract constitutes the entire agreement between BUYER and BREEDER and no other written, verbal, or implied statements, promises, documents, or written shall have any effect of this contract.
